Getting Started

Making Contact

Sometimes this can seem like the biggest obstacle to be overcome and I always try to make it as easy as possible. Give me a call, or drop me an email and we can make arrangements to have an initial 20 minute phone conversation. You’ll see my contact details at the bottom of the page.

There is no charge for this, other than the cost of the call, and you are under no obligation at the end of it. We can talk about why you are interested in coaching and what you’d like to get out of it. If you then wanted to go ahead we can book a session.

How many sessions?

Peoples needs and circumstances can differ widely but as a rough guide a typical client might arrange:

  • between 4 – 8 sessions,
  • the first for 1½ hours and the remainder 1 hour each,
  • at monthly with some phone or email contact in between,
  • held face to face at my home base in Exeter which has unrestricted parking, however individual circumstances may require an alternative venue.

How much will it cost?

I charge £60 per hour for coaching (this allows for up to 60 minutes phone/email contact between sessions). This means that the price for 4 sessions would be £270, for 6 sessions - £390, or for 8 sessions £510.

That is the price, but what about the cost?

Apart from the money there is also your time and energy and don’t under estimate either. Coaching work doesn’t begin and end with the sessions themselves. In fact I firmly believe that most of the real work occurs outside of them, during those times when you begin to put into practice what you have learned and planned from the sessions.

Over the course of a coaching programme you can expect to experience highs and lows, break-throughs and set-backs, triumphs and disappointments. During these times you will find yourself drawing on your physical, mental and emotional reserves of energy. These all have value and represent a significant but invisible element.

So in the end, your total investment in coaching is something that only you can workout.

And the cost of not doing it? – well again, only you can know.
